World Gin Awards 2020

So we thought that nothing very exciting happens in January. How wrong we were!!  We dipped our toes into the world of spirits, by launching our own gin in November. Simply named Rising Sons Gin, it is  unfiltered  with notes of zesty orange, jasmine and a spicy finish. Well we weren’t the only ones who thought it was pretty tasty. The World Gin Awards awarded us a silver medal for our gin on January 15th. With its launch less than three months ago we are ecstatic with our win. Rising Sons gin is available in our bar and across all Cork Heritage Pubs

Talking of beer, our new seasonal special, Trailblazer an American brown ale, is going down a treat with all those dark beer drinkers who were looking for something “wintery” For the hop lovers, 5th Horseman our session IPA is next in line for the Brewhouse. Something to look forward to in the next couple of weeks.

All preparations are underway for the start of the 6th Nations Rugby starting on February 1st. We will have plenty of giveaways during the Championship, and remember when it comes to booking a table for the games, the early bird catches the worm.
