Our brewers were talking about another one off coffee stout, so when the guys from Soma Coffee Roasters approached us in 2017, we were eager to talk to them. After a good chat and a very interesting guided coffee tasting with Alex and his team, a collaboration brew was unavoidable. One of their own roast single origin bean stood out for us and we just knew it would pair perfectly with the rich wholesome stout we had planned. The beer went down a treat and has been in great demand since it sold out, so much so, that we’ve agreed with them to keep this project alive and brew a second batch, with a different coffee. Finding like minded local businesses to work with helps keep the fun in what we do
