‘Tis that time of year again. Make sure and get your place early in our famous Cheltenham Buster. Taking place from  10th – 13th March 2020, its only €10 to enter and all coverage will be shown on the big screen.

‘Beat the Brewer’ will be taking place again this year. Buy a Rising Sons pint, pick a race, pick a horse and if your nag comes in first 1st, you win a Rising Sons pint on us.

If you’re feeling peckish our kitchen will be open all day from 11 am. To mark the occasion, you can avail of  The ‘C’mon Boy’ lunch – a Rising Son’s take on a traditional Cornish pasty with a pint of our special Cheltenham brew, a Californian Common ‘C’mon Eileen’ all for the lovely price of €9.50. Our famous €12 Pizza & Pint deal will be available as a part of the mid – week deal from Tuesday through to Thursday.

Competition include all Cheltenham races over the four days
All slips must delivered or phoned in by 12.30 pm on the day
If no show, competitors will be give Examiner favourites at half points
Points are allocated as 1st; 10 points, 2nd; 6 points 3rd; 2 points
Double points for 25/1 or more
Dead – Heat, both horses are allocated full points
The winner will be announced on Sunday 15th March
Non-runners will be given the Examiner favourites
